Recruiting & structured hiring · PUBLIC RESEARCH BRIEF
GreenhouseWhich interview-kit cue helps interviewers provide comparable evidence?
Greenhouse currently documents interview kits containing focus attributes, interview questions and preparation, plus scorecards that assess predetermined criteria. Scorecard visibility and editing depend on permissions and configuration. This brief studies workflow comprehension with fictional candidates; it does not evaluate real applicants or claim that a design change improves hiring outcomes.

Three questions for the GTM team.
Before scorecard submission, would an evidence-coverage check or a concise missing-fields list better help interviewers distinguish observations from an overall recommendation?
Set up this study →When scorecard visibility is restricted until peers submit, would an explanation of the rule or a status view of outstanding submissions better reduce confusion without exposing another interviewer's assessment?

Who should weigh in?
North American recruiting operations teams, hiring managers and interviewers using or evaluating Greenhouse Recruiting. Include occasional interviewers, frequent interviewers and administrators who configure kits and permissions. Use fictional roles and candidates only. Proposed audience; no applicant, employee or hiring-decision data is included.
TWO TIME HORIZONS
Trial today. A habit tomorrow?
Near term · 0–90 days
Over 0–90 days, test interview-kit and scorecard prototypes with fictional roles, resumes and interview notes. Measure attribute coverage, unsupported inference, duplicate evaluation, completion time and understanding of visibility rules. Do not rank or advance any real candidate.
Longer term · 3–12 months
Over 3–12 months, follow consenting recruiting teams in sandbox or training workflows as roles, interview plans and interviewer frequency change. Examine scorecard completion, calibration-discussion quality, administrator support and template drift. Claims about fairness, quality of hire or legal compliance require independent expert and outcome evaluation.
What would make the result actionable?
Use versioned Greenhouse support pages, fictional candidate cases with a rubric, permission-role test accounts and blinded review of evidence-to-rating alignment. Include recruiting, accessibility, privacy and employment-law review before any live test; exclude protected-trait data and never automate an employment decision.
